Once in a lifetime portraits for once in a lifetime moments. 

This sweet Colorado family was hoping for one of our signature sunset field sessions, but the weather had other plans. Clouds full of thunder opened and decided to dump inches upon inches of rain, and there were winds that would scare off anyone in the Wizard of Oz. We decided quickly to move the session to the studio. Mom, dad, and baby L were amazing with the changes. 

Some of my favorites from sessions aren’t what you’d expect from a “perfect portrait.” But they are perfectly imperfect. They are the moments in-between. You know “those” moments. 

The times that we moms and dads close our eyes and try to etch into our mind on on our hearts.

The quiet moment of needing a momma snuggle.

The delicate way a grandmother wraps her hands across her little ones. Protective. Kind. Full of wisdom.

These are just a few of the in-between moments that are included with each session. (We don’t share too many online, because we want mom and dad to be the ones to share with family and friends.)
