I love the great questions so many of you ask before reserving your newborn’s portrait session. It’s a big decision, choosing someone to photograph your baby’s first few day’s of life, when there aren’t any “do-overs.”

Of course there are common questions about locations, what to wear, our wardrobe for moms, when to schedule. All of those things are good and important.

But of most importance, I love questions about style. You should be in love with the style, the quality, the feel, the “something” that you see in what a photographer can create for your family. You might not be able to put it into words, but you know it when you see it.

Many of you tell me that initially you were drawn to the natural feel of the photographs. That the focus isn’t on backgrounds, sets, or your baby in “costumes.” Instead, each baby’s details and those moments with mom and dad were that “something.” Thank you. We work hard to make sure that your baby and his or her first few days of life are preserved in the best way we know how….. with a simplicity that will always remind you of how amazing new life truly is.

There are only four more openings for newborn portraits in 2018. If you’re due date is 2018, and you’ve been meaning to schedule your newborn session… today is the day! Due in 2019? It’s never to early to get on the calendar. Now booking through April 2019.
